RIMMEL APOCALIPS LIP LACQUER!!

The day has finally arrived... the day I have been waiting for. The day that Canada FINALLY has the rimmel apocalips lip lacquers. These have been released in the UK for ages and after hearing so many good reviews I prayed that I'd be able to get my hands on them. I have not been so excited for something in my entire life.... Actually. I went to wal-Mart today, and IMMEDIATELY grabbed any random one. I didn't even know what I was choosing. I just had to have any of the shades. I ended up choosing "aurora" a rosy pink colour. It's actually really pretty.
they actually feel really moisturizing and glossy. I love the texture, does not feel sticky at all. They are really easy to apply as well. Not suited for a quick touch up in a moving vehicle though, you might end up with some on your face. The colour is really pigmented, you could either dab it on your lips or for a more intense dramatic look apply it normally. I HAVE to buy all of the shades. I've waited too long for these. They are $8.00  and are worth every penny. They are actually almost identical to the Kat Von D liquid lipsticks which are $20 at sephora. I almost like the texture of these better. They feel so lovely on, definitely worth the wait. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU PICK  ONE UP! I love them with my whole heart.
 Thanks for stopping by guys!!

IPSY GLAM BAG | july

hello everyone! i hope everyone is enjoying their summer thus far. how beautiful it is in my part of Canada today.. i've been going on many-a bike rides lately. :) :)
anyways- today i happily received my monthly 'ipsy glam bag' in the mail in it's lovely shiny fuschia pink package! how i always look forward to that every month. theres something so thrilling about not knowing what you'll receive. makes me feel like a kid again when you'd get treat bags from your chummies birthday party.
i am actually SUPER excited about what was sent this month.. so many amazing products. this is what i wanted from glossybox, but since that has discontinued, ipsy has been an amazing replacement.
in the july glam bag i received six items (including the make-up bag)...

  • 'bene-tint' by benefit rose tinted lip and cheek stain - SAMPLE
  • 'coola' mineral sunscreen tinted moisturizer - SAMPLE
  • 'healthy sexy hair' soy renewal beach spray - SAMPLE
  • 'pop beauty' pouty pop crayon, shade = "coral crush" - FULL SIZE
  • 'california collection' eyeshadow trio by bh cosmetics, shade = "hollywood," "san fransisco," & "malibu" - SAMPLE

"bene-tint" benefit rose-tinted cheek and lip stain

when i swatched this on my hand i think that i instantly loved it. it smells like roses (i know some people aren't a fan of rose scented things, but it smells so pretty). and the colour turns out so natural! i have another cheek and lip stain, but its a very intense pink whereas this particular one is great for an every day natural look. i have a little obsession with rose coloured lip products, and this is entirely up my alley.

"California Collection" by bhcosmetics eyeshadow trio

i have heard a lot of amazing things about bhcosmetics and just haven't taken the time to purchase anything from their website. these shades are absolutely gorgeous. i think they'd look so pretty together in more of a sultry smokey eye. i always use gold tones on my eyes, so naturally i'd love these. this is such a great little sample pack to throw in your make-up bag for travelling when you need to pack lightly.

in order = "malibu, san fransisco, hollywood"

i am very ecstatic about this ipsy glam bag and i CANNOT wait to try all of these products out!

xx.

GLOSSYBOX | april

i received my glossybox in the mail a couple of days ago, but just picked it up from the post office yesterday. it's always exciting to get your package and you never know what you're going to have inside. it's a big surprise overall. you pay $21.00 per month for glossybox, and can unsubscribe at any time you wish. i was pretty thrilled with this months box, there were a lot of full sized decent products in here, and a good variety to boot. in the box you received...
  • jelly pong pong cosmetics lip blush- FULL SIZE. $18.70 value
it's a nice red moisturizing lip stain, it's subtle, but still is nicely pigmented. reminds me of clinique's chubby stick or revlons kissable balm stain. *cruelty free*
  • schick hydro silk razor- FULL SIZE. $10.99 value
this is actually a decent razor that you can buy cartridges for (comes with one). non disposable.
  • boscia recharging night moisture- FULL SIZE. $44.00 value
a concentrated moisturizer that works overnight to repair, strengthen and improve skin's elasticity and firmness
  • pop beauty glitz blitz eyeliner- FULL SIZE. $15.00 value
"smudge-free, glitzy eyeliner has the intensity of a liquid liner but the easy application of a pencil". -water-proof, shade 'olive oomph'
  • heartland fragrances epson bath salts. $10.00 value
there was a wonderful smell coming from the box once i opened it, and it must have been this epsom bath salts. scent is "soft mint". it says that it relaxes, detoxifies, soften's skin, and soothes aches.

BONUS COUPONS
  1. get one free danone silhouette greek yogurt pack with coupon
  2. schick hydro silk save $3.00 off any schick hydro silk refill 4 cartridge or 6 cartridge pack PLUS save $3.00 off new schick hydro silk disposable razors

so i have to say this months glossybox was more than impressive. i love everything that was inside, and i can't wait to test the products out. at first you think $21.00 a month can get pretty pricey, but look at the value that was inside! you definitely get your moneys worth and then some. i can only hope the other months will be as good as this one. a huge improvement from march's box!

REVLON COLORBURST LIP BUTTERS

after watching essiebutton's (essiebutton.com) youtube and reading her blogposts, i've just been wanting to try revlon's colourburst lip butters for so long. i'm always a fan of lip balms type lipcolours with great pigmentation. the colour i picked up was 010- raspberry pie. it was such a difficult decision picking out a colour because they had so many different varieties - some with shimmer, some without, etc - i ended up grabbing this one, i seem to be drawn to the berry shades lately. i really like it, it is definitely a colour that i am going to have on a lot in the near future. they'll be nice to throw in my handbag for spring/summer. they really have an amazing colour payoff. i especially like that the lip butters are so simple to apply, no fuss. i don't have to worry about making sure that all points of my lips are covered and not drooping over the edge or anything like that. you can just put these on as you would any regular lip balm. having this on it felt moisturizing and nice, i really wish they had a fruity scent to them considering the name is raspberry pie, i just thought there would've been. but oh well, it is still a nice product. i prefer these to any kind of lip gloss-y type product (even the l'oreal glossy shine stain, what?!) these are $8.99 at any grocery/supermarket. have any of you tried these? what other shades should i try?
