MAY FAVORITES

Hello everyone! Im back! and happy about it, I have a couple days off this weekend therefore I thought, why not blog? Just in time for my may favourites to boot. I've picked out a couple products that I have tried out this month that I have really enjoyed! So here she goes...

1.paris amour signature collection room spray - I bought this on a complete whim. My mom had the candle in this scent and I really liked it, so I picked this up for about $4 from bath and body works. It's really lovely to spray on your bed and pillows n things for a fresh girly scent.
2.arbonne makeup primer- my friend is a representative for arbonne products and I chose to buy one of these makeup primers, something that I needed anyways. I'm a big fan of this actually, I really liked benefits pore-fessional makeup primer when I had the sample, and the Arbonne was basically the same product, except the serum was clear. It just makes a nice smooth surface so your makeup will apply flawlessly. And my makeup lasts all day with this, so I appreciate that. You can buy this on the arbonne website for $26 or somewhere around that, it's pricey, but it works
3.batiste dry shampoo - I've heard so many good things about this brand, so I ended up buying a 3 sample pack of the floral and regular. It's great for a little refresh on those days where you don't have time to shower in the morning. It completely adds some life to your hair and the scent is pleasant. $10 at winners
4.neostrata moisture infusion 24 hr hydrating serum- this is literally the best moisturizing I've ever tried. It sinks in your skin like nothing else ever could. My skin I so moisturized after, it's brilliant. Your skin instantly looks and feels better. $20-30 any drugstore
5.deep down detox ultra-cleansing mud mask orange + bergamot- I have been loving this stuff. I use this when I start getting a few blemishes or my skin is tired and lacking. The day after I've used this my skin looks energized and bright, blemishes have diminished and my skin feels clean and firm. $10 any drug/grocery store.
6.beautiful day fine fragrance mist- this is my new Favorjte body spray from bath and body works, it smells fruity and clean  like you've just had a bath or something.... I can't get enough of this, I even bought the miniature version for my purse. I just love it, so amazing for summer. $10-$15 at B&BW

those are all of my favorites for this month, I hope you'll think about picking some of these up?!  It feels good to be properly blogging again.

****PS I can't believe glossy box Canada has come to an end, I'm literally so sad! *****

IPSY GLAM BAG | march

hello! this week i received my ipsy delivery in the mail! which is my first one from them! and i have to say that i'm quite thrilled about it. more thrilled than my glossybox i think. only because it came with mostly makeup and i really have been enjoying everything i've tried so far. the glam bag came with...
  • MICA beauty cosmetics loose powder eyeshadow in 72-earth
  • be a bombshell cosmetics blush in beach please
  • healthy sexy hair soy renewal nourishing styling treatment
  • sation nail lacquer in love at first byte

and it all came in a simple white makeup bag with a bright pink zipper. very cute. the blush is very pigmented, it's a very bright pink, so a little definitely goes a long way. the eyeshadow is a super pretty pink with little gold shimmers in it. i haven't tried the nail polish or the healthy sexy hair yet but i'm sure they'll be nice aswell. but so far so good! i'm really impressed, and for only $12.00 i think it's worth it!

REVLON PHOTOREADY BB CREAM

hello friends. as i have said in a previous blog post, i went to a revlon seminar about two weeks ago and received the new revlon photoready bb cream as a freebie. since i like switching my foundations around i decided to give this a try for the past week. i really, really like this. and what they were saying at the seminar is that other bb creams are comparable to a tinted moisturizer, whereas revlon wanted to make their bb cream have more of a foundation base to it. it is just as good as any other foundation that i own.  it covers all of my imperfections, and it is very buildable. it is about a medium coverage. it also contains SPF 30, so that's always a bonus. it smells like suntan lotion too! i just love that smell, reminds me of summer. what's funny about this is that i was given shade 030 medium, which i thought was forsure going to be too dark. i have an olive skin tone but lighter shades always seem to match better. and even when i applied this to my hand before i put it on my face, it looks way too dark. but as soon as i put it on my face in little smears and dots and buff it in, you would never be able to tell that it was too dark at all. it just matches nicely, which was so surprising for me, never in a million years would i have bought the medium shade. i tend to grab the lighter shades because i know that adding face powder and bronzer darken the face a tad. this bb cream makes my face glow, i'm really enjoying this at the moment. i bought a bb cream before by the brand annabelle... and i wasn't as impressed with it. it didn't hide any imperfections i found that i had to reapply my powder all of the time throughout the day. but i don't have that problem with this bb cream! price is 10.99 or 11.99 (i can't remember), and available at any drugstore/grocery store. this product will especially be great in the summer time when i do have a slight tan, you don't feel like you're wearing a lot of makeup, which is important for me because usually when i apply my make up i just want to scratch it all off. i just feel so uncomfortable. this covers as a foundation but applies/feels like a moisturizer. i'm really fond of it, and i definitely recommend this to you guys. have any of you tried revlon's bb cream? what do you think? xx

BENEFIT HOOLA BRONZER REVIEW

i bought this bronzer about a month ago from sephora. i was using a joe fresh bronzer before that which did the job just fine, but i did find it a little bit orange-y still. so i just thought i should buy a high end bronzer and be happy with it, so i did just that. i absolutely love this bronzer, it is amazing. it's not orange-y at all and it matches my skin tone perfectly. it looks so natural but still contours nicely. it gives my skin that glowing finish that i wanted. hoola is a matte bronzer, it has no shimmer in it (thank god). the foundation i'm currently using has a little bit of shimmer in it, so my face would look so sparkly if this had. it comes with a brush that looks like a rectangle, which is actually perfect for the contour of your cheekbones, i just sweep it in the contour and then buff it to blend with my blusher which a face brush or buffing brush. i love this stuff, and WILL be re-purchasing once i run out. it is $36.00 at sephora.
