hello friends! what a good day today!!!! i had to go to the dentist to get cavities filled (hurted) and then i came home to the glorious box (which my dad tried to hide from me...the guy). THIS IS MY FIRST EVER GLOSSYBOX! yaaaaay. super exciting. anyways... just to get right down to it, if there is anyone out there who aren't sure about what glossybox is, or whether or not they should subscribe ... glossybox is a monthly subscription to receive samples/full size products on your doorstep. glossybox canada have only been around for just over a year now, and i really..really hope they advance. there are a few things in this box that i'm really thrilled about and some that i have issues with. in this months box i received... 

1. full sized model-co cheek + lip tint in shade rosy red. $24.00 value - i'm really excited about this particular product because it seems really, really nice. i tried a bit of it on the back of my hand, and the texture is really neat. it's very liquid-like and light. it also smells like raspberries -which is lovely- and the color is super pretty aswell. 
2. jergens natural glow 3 days to glow moisturizer, full size. $12.99 value - this product is fine, i haven't had the best luck with bronzing self tanning lotions before, so we'll see the quality of this. the only thing that bugs me is that i find that our glossyboxes tend to send more drugstore brand stuff, i'd really love to see more samples of the higher luxe brands of make-up/beauty products. but its a full sized bottle, so i really shouldn't be complaining... but still. 
3. l'oreal paris youth code serum intense - we received four samples of these, which are more than one use. that's definitely not bad. i did try this out today, and it made my skin really soft. i'm curious to see the effects it'll have in your daily routine. the full sized 30ml bottle is $29.99
4. TRESEMME PLATINUM STRENGTH DEEP CONDITIONING TREATMENT or TRESEMME KERATIN SMOOTH HEAT PROTECTION SHINE SPRAY. full size, $5.99 value. -i received the platinum strength deep conditioning treatment, you either got one or the other. i ombre my hair so i'll definitely try this out and see if it diminishes some of the damage i have from bleaching it... let you know how that goes. 
5. beautiful movements loose eyeshadow sample in shade platinum tiara. for the full size (2g) it's $10.99. it's a really pretty sparkly grey color. 
6. lastly, i received two coupons. -l'oreal youth code $3.00 off of the dark spot day cream or the bb cream AND a coupon for buy any biore pore strips and get any cleanser for free 

so this wasn't a bad box by any means, we get a bunch of full sized items, and you only have to pay $21.00 for this and the value is much more than that. i'm happy with it, like i said i just wish that they had more higher brands in their boxes such as benefit, nars, clinique, etc. maybe we'll get to see more of that soon? i forgot to mention that the theme for this box was Metropolitain Chic. it was all put together for the upcoming spring months (i can't wait to see that day). i'm so sorry if i ruined the surprise for some of you ladies, and if you're thinking about subscribing to glossybox CA i would recommend it forsure, you can unsubscribe at any time, it's $21.00 per month. i also subscribed to ipsy.com to receive their beauty bags, so let's hope that pops in the mail sometime soon, i just love these kinds of surprises! :) i so wish i could get boxes from the UK or something, cause i know they have such amazing products in their glossyboxes! wa wa. i hope everyone had a lovely day, and i'll see you all soon. xx
