E.L.F | "holiday" clearance haul

hello loves, 

i finally have something worth writing about today. ELF cosmetics every year around Christmas come out with their holiday range of palettes, eye liners, kits and send them to stores to be sold ONLY for that time of year. otherwise, ELF is never carried in the grocery stores in Canada. (Well atleast in my neck of the woods). Lucky for me, this week the store i work at decided to put all of these holiday ELF kits to the clearance. safe to say... i went NUTS. 

e.l.f. Beauty Book in "Everyday" $2.44

i'm always drawn to neutral eyeshadows, it's what i wear most often. this palette is really nice because it offers the bronze/gold tones, and also allows you to build a smokey eye with the dark purple/lighter purple shades. this kit also comes with a mini "brightening eyeliner" and a little eyeshadow sponge. also the top 3 shadows are matte shades, and the rest are shimmer. 

e.l.f little black beauty book in "Glam Holiday" $2.44

i already own one of these in the "Cold" variety. I love how small and portable this palette is. it fits so well into your handbag. not to mention the variety of colours in this little guy is amazing. once again, i picked it for it's neutral shades, but it has some really nice plum shades as well. this will easily become apart of my morning routine. it also has a mixture of matte/shimmer shades. 

e.l.f shimmer eyeliner pencils $2.44 

these just looked too pretty in their box to pass up. i'm not usually one to wear glitter eyeliner, but i thought that these would be a perfect slight pop of colour to a natural make-up look. almost an unexpected twist. it comes with a grey, turquoise, purple, black and a gold pencil. they also have added a sharpener to their lids for easy sharpening on the go. i LOVE that.

this was what i was most excited about. i happen to love e.l.f's make-up brushes, and when these all came in one kit for under $5 i'd be absolutely crazy not to buy them. the kit includes....

i'm really thrilled about all the E.L.F products i picked up today, and literally cannot wait to give them all a try. i am obsessed with E.L.F and how affordable and decent quality their products are. definitely worth a try if you are reluctant, and the best part is, if you don't like anything you purchase, it isn't a huge amount of money to lose.
